TWO DAY PRACTICAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CLINIC
27-28th April 2013
"Best course I have attended since the 5 day...I loved it. It was the perfect 'bridge' between the theory and the practical and just pushed me further along working with horses I was unfamiliar with and who did have real issues. I felt very well supported at all times and loved every minute."
This clinic is ideal for people who want to get real hands on experience finding workable solutions for horses and owners. Participants will be put in small groups and given a project horse/pony to work with. During the course you will not only cover the theory relating to your project/training aim, but will also be guided and supported through designing and implementing your own training sessions, and creating a follow up training program for the owner to continue with. Not all horses fit into a box or category, and this course allows us to explore the individual, tailor made choices and skills that are essential to successful horse training. You will learn the real life tools of the trade in finding workable solutions for all sorts of horses, you are more than welcome to retake this course, as no two courses will be the same given the individual-horse centred learning style. Courses will be split and into different levels of difficulty - we want this to be a successful and enjoyable course for horses and handlers!
If you would like to bring your horse as a guinea pig, please get in touch. Clipping, handling, catching, mounting, loading, spooking, or anything else that you would like to start to change...
